Okay girls don't get mad at me, but it is refreshing to photograph a young man sometimes too. This is J and we had a great time during his shoot. If he was nervous...well I sure didn't know it! He kept his cool, carried on a conversation and followed directions well.
Thanks J it was a pleasure getting to know you:-)
Stunning isn't she? I'm sure that when you first look at her photo you think what a beautiful girl. Well you're right! But what makes her even more beautiful...
...is that her Spirit is so beautiful! This is one of the sweetest and most grounded teenagers. I'm so thankful when my teens feel so comfortable with me and are able to just kick back, relax and even talk about their lives!
I was able to capture her just being a teenager and enjoying every minute of it!
Yes, she is beautiful...

Oh and you know what else is beautiful? I'll tell you...
Her Grad STYLE session album was a little late...okay well very late (so sorry about that Miss E)! Good ole' Christmas Holiday time. Not once did she ever call me to find out what's going on with her book. Now that is beautiful (he,he):-)

I have been photographing this family's Christmas portraits for 3 years now. So when I arrived to their home about 2 weeks ago, I was immediately greeted by many large portraits of the children. I felt so proud and honored!

Meet the "H" girls...this is their last years Christmas portrait and one of my favorite portraits. I was reminded how awesome it is that families allow me and trust me to create art of their lives; That families allow me and trust me to capture imagery to be shared and treasured for a lifetime.
I'm thankful to be apart of something that is so much more than pressing the shutter...I'm apart of Capturing the Spirit…of real life…my special role in these families lives is Designing Art and Building Memories.
I feel truly Blessed!
